I’m a visual person, I like to “see” things rather than read them, so the idea of vision boards appeals.  A vision board is more than just a collage—it’s a powerful tool to visualise your goals, stay motivated, and take actionable steps toward your dream career. By creating a visual representation of where you want to go, you keep your ambitions front and centre in your daily life.

Here’s how to create a vision board that works for your career growth:

1. Define Your Career Goals

Start by getting clear on what you want to achieve. Do you want a promotion? A new role? To develop a specific skill? Write down your short-term and long-term goals.

2. Gather Inspiring Visuals

Find images, quotes, and symbols that represent your goals. These could be pictures of your dream job, a mentor who inspires you, words that reflect your values, or places you want to work. Use magazines, Pinterest, or printouts to collect visuals that resonate with your ambitions.

3. Organise Your Board

Arrange your visuals in a way that makes sense to you. You might group them by theme—such as skills, achievements, work-life balance, or dream companies. Make sure your board is visually engaging and easy to review - but this board is yours, so dont think about making sense to anyone else!
